• All fuels you "burn" directly.
• eg: Gas in company cars, heating oil/fuel used to power equipment "owned" by your business

➡ Scope 2 - Buy

• Indirect emissions that you do not control directly
• eg: Purchased electricity/heating/ cooling

➡ Scope 3 - Beyond

• Everything else that supports your business operations
• eg: Emissions from procurement, production, and after-use.
